| Day 3: to Ramundberget After a night with clouds of mosquitos we packed the tent, hade some breakfast inside the kitchen building of the campsite we steered the Mini out on road 45 again. We didn´t drive for long until we saw something familiar on a layby beside the road, a Mini! With a caravan after! It was Peter from Gothenburg who was on his way catching up with the Minis heading for Nortcape. The caravan was his famous(?!) homebuilt "Snarkofag". A lovely little caravan which he has been building during the last two long dark winters. He had all facilities inside and with a decent 1420cc engine in the Mini there was no problem to tow it. The caravan wanted to drive at about 80 km/h but the Mini wanted to drive faster, no wonder with that engine! We left him after a small report of what we had seen the day before in Mora. We drove to Sveg and then choosed the road heading to Hede where we stopped for coffee in a nice bakery. We visited the local grocery and filled up our supplies, before we rang to Lennart, a local Miniac. I had been mailing with him some time ago and I think I spoke with him once over the telephone. You can imagine how surprised (chocked?) he became when we told him that we were close to him! We got a description how to drive to his house and then we drove. This was a nice man with loads of projects on his backyard. Mostly Minis but also 1100/1300 cars and other intresting things. He has two lovely dogs which earlier was used for dragging sleighs wintertime. Time flew and we now pressed the pedal and aimed for Ramundberget just north of Funäsdalen. We were going to visit some friends who has part in a small cottage there. We found our way and had a nice dinner together with them and they lend us their guest cabin to spread our things in and to sleep in. Nice friends!
